Stacking silver is a long game, and this page is built for the collectors who play it seriously. We cover how to build your stack, how to evaluate premiums, and when buying makes sense for your goals. No hype, no fear-mongering about the price of silver — just the practical, level-headed approach we bring to everything. Whether you're stacking rounds, bars, or constitutional silver, the fundamentals are the same. Learn to manage premiums, understand your entry points, and buy with the discipline that separates a stacker from someone just buying coins on a whim.
What Is Stacking?
Stacking is the practice of accumulating physical precious metals — gold, silver, copper, and platinum group metals (PGM: platinum, palladium) — as a store of value, inflation hedge, and tangible asset. Unlike coin collecting (numismatics), which focuses on rarity and condition, stacking is primarily about metal content.
But the two worlds overlap more than most realize. Understanding both makes you a smarter buyer, a safer seller, and a better steward of your holdings.
